While at lunch today I noticed that the Movin 92.5 virus is
spreading. I approached the street team and asked them kindly to
not put up any more banners. They told me that they have
authorization from the city to do so... How is it this form of
waste is accepted at the city or is this simply a lie from the
workers of Movin 92.5? 
Does the city look the other
way if the promotion helps the suffering Tacoma Dome? The
city of Tacoma's Twitter has been very helpful. (Thank you!) Here

as I can tell so far, no permission was given
Update: I cleaned up all of the signs over by the
freeway entrance by Almond Roca, nearly 40 not cleaned up over by
Tacomadome.

That looks like utter hell. Thanks for the photos Michael. But Britney or no Britney, it's unacceptable. If I weren't half a world away I'd be out there pulling that crap down. I can't imagine the city is allowing that. If they are it's just as bad, if not worse, than all the billboards that still blight our skyscape.

Solution is easy.
You, me and whoever else thinks it's ugly just meets there at dusk with a recycle bin and scissors.
And don't even THINK about calling taking down those eyesores vandalism. THEY already vandalized the public realm. It's not like we're burning a billboard here.
We're cleaning up a mess.

I just tore down nearly 7 of them over by almond roca, sorry Thorax I missed your comment, there are about 20 over by fries en burger that needs to be tore down, anyone else?
